The Westin Maui Resort and Spa has a pool that is like no other on Maui.

Enjoy an 87,000 square-foot pool area featuring five swimming pools, two water slides, a swim-through grotto with twin waterfalls and a hidden Whirlpool. Among the pool area you notice exotic wildlife and a $2.5 million art collection.

Hours of operation are as follows:

Maui & Molokai pools (lower decks) are open at sunrise for lap swimming etc.

All other 3 pools, Oahu, Kauai & Lanai, as well as the towel desk will open at 7:30am daily. Maui, Molokai, Lanai & Kauai Pools will close at sunset.

Oahu Pool (Adult Deck) will remain open until 10:00pm, along with the jacuzzi. Towels are available on the Oahu Deck in our designated teak box.

Check out our activities calendar for information on aquatic events including races and basketball games. Also offered at the pool are on-site SCUBA diving and snorkeling instruction.

The Westin Maui Resort and Spa is located ocean-front on warm Ka'anapali beach. Snorkeling and SCUBA diving are offered beachfront and much can be seen in front of the hotel and slightly upshore at Black Rock. Remember that ocean conditions are constantly changing. Be sure to have a fun yet safe ocean adventure by following these safety tips:

  • Weather and ocean tides do change affecting ocean conditions. Waves and strong currents may be unsafe. Red flags indicate dangerous ocean conditions. Use good judgement before entering the water. For the most recent civil service updates on surf and weather conditions, please see the staff at the towel desk.
  • The beach fronting the hotel is a public beach, as are all beaches in Hawaii. There are no lifeguards on duty at any time.

Children should be accompanied by an adult at the beach, pool, and spas at all times. No lifeguards are on duty.

Please read the beach and ocean safety tips located in the compendium of the guest rooms.
