One of Tropica Restaurant and Bar signature cocktail, Dragonberry Bomb was prominently featured at Starwood's annual sales meeting in Orlando, Florida. Its creator Freddie Sconfienza, Tropica Bartender, won the coveted award of 2013 Star Mixologist in all Starwood Hotels and Resorts in North America.
The Dragonberry Bomb (pictured above) is made with dragonberry rum, elderflower liqueur, fresh blackberries, fresh squeezed limes and sugar cane syrup. For the final event, where Starwood associates tasted and voted for one of four competing cocktails, Freddie prepared this signature drink with freshly squeezed lime juices that he and fellow leaders hand-prepped the day of. His dedication, faith in his creation and many supportive votes set him to win this honorable award.
