Fun activities and Hawaiian arts and crafts are offered daily as part of The Westin Maui Resort & Spa’s Discovery Program. Designed for all age groups including families, the resort’s Director of Fun® Jack Stone and his team add fun and exciting elements to each activity, making it truly enjoyable. These range from koi fish feeding, candy and flower lei making, water aerobics, making your own smoothies, canoe making and racing, scavenger hunt, talk story with Hawaiian culturist Thadd, Hawaiian horse shoe competition, slide races, air brush tattoos, sandology and more. Hot favorites include "Star Gazing & Hawaiian Smores" as well as "Dive-in movies", both offered by the pool deck area.

Kids go wild over The Westin Maui Resort & Spa’s 87,000 square-foot aquatic playground, voted the best pool in Maui and number two in North America by Trip Advisor for 2006. Parents and children frolic through five swimming pools, refreshing waterfalls and two thrilling slides- one of which has a 23-foot drop. Water volleyball and basketball are just a few of the aquatic sports available for active teenagers while parents relax in a hidden whirlpool or at the adults only pool.

At The Westin Maui Resort & Spa, kids ages 5 to 12 years old can participate in the Westin Kids Club (WKC) Discovery Roomsm. Hula dancing, lei-making, Polynesian face painting and even a photo adventure tour are just few of the activities offered. The Day Kids Club is offered seven days a week, 8:30 am to 3:00 pm, at a guest rate of $70 for a full day and $60 for each additional sibling. The Day Kids Club includes activities, lunch and a Westin Kids Club Discovery backpack of goodies that include a disposable camera to record their hotel adventures.

The Night Kids Camp is offered Monday through Sunday (unless no participants), 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm and includes snacks, games, nighttime safari, movie mania, arts and crafts and much more! Hotel guests receive the rate of $52 for the first child, and $42 for each sibling.
