The first Westin branded spa to open worldwide six years ago, the resort’s Heavenly Spa by Westin™ is a $5 million, 15,000-square-foot refreshing oasis that renews the mind, body and spirit. It is a full-service spa with 16 treatment rooms, including two couples massage suites – each with a whirlpool and candlelit ambience; separate men’s and women’s lockers with sauna, steam room and whirlpools and an oceanview relaxation lounge where guests are pampered with soothing beverages such as lavender lemonade and spa cuisine. Guests can also enjoy a full-service beauty salon with hairstyling, manicures, pedicures, make-up services and bridal party preparation. The spa also has a 2,000-square-foot Westin Workout Center complete with state-of-the-art equipment and yoga studio with ocean views. An outdoor cabana for single or couples massages surrounded by waterfalls and lush gardens complete the extensive offerings of Heavenly Spa by Westin.
The Westin Maui Resort & Spa, Ka’anapali also offers the Westin In-Room Spa program, bringing the personalized luxury and comfort of a full-service spa to the privacy of the hotel room. As part of the hotel industry’s first global in-room spa program, the experience was developed by Westin Hotels & Resorts’ spa team and includes a luxurious yet portable spa bed and a spa basket filled with sensory items to be enjoyed before, during and after the massage.
The resort’s in-room spa experience is customized from start to finish-beginning with booking, when a staff member collects information about the guest’s history and preferences. Approximately 40 minutes before the massage appointment, hotel staff delivers a spa basket holding water, a flower, a CD containing customized relaxation music, a healthful treat such as a dark chocolate and a letter explaining what to expect from the treatment along with tips for ultimate relaxation and enjoyment. The basket also contains a selection of plant-based aromatherapy oils and room sprays, allowing the guest to choose a scent for the treatment.
“Historically, hotels offering in-room massage have used equipment and methods that were designed for function, not comfort,” explained Leah Strohecker, spa manager for the resort. “The inspiring Westin initiative brings the spa experience to the guest room by incorporating all five senses-the bowl of flowers, for example, helps guests focus and unwind in an organic way.” Available in the resort’s guestrooms daily between the hours of 10:00 am and 6:00 pm, choices include the signature full-body Heavenly Massage customized for a truly uplifting experience.
Unique treatments such as the Heavenly Body wrap which uses a rich lavender sugar scrub and CoffeeBerry® Facial with light coffee bean and vanilla fragrance are just a few indulgences of the spa. There are also water therapies, facial skincare and traditional Hawaiian massages such as Lomi Lomi Massage or the newly-introduced Laulima (many fingers) Massage with two therapists working in tandem to offer a relaxing massage.

This decadent body treatment uses lavender sugar scrub specially prepared by Cathy Today of Maui Lavender Farm (upcountry Maui). Ideal to exfoliate and re-moisturize the skin, the treatment begins with a native island sugar scrub infused with Maui lavender and passion fruit oils. After a refreshing shower within the spa room, guest is wrapped in a warm cocoa butter blend, while enjoying a soothing scalp massage.
Laulima (many fingers) Massage: $270 (50 minutes)
Two therapists work in unison to provide a soothing and relaxing massage, drifting you off into a state of deep relaxation. Each therapist will work towards providing the full benefits of circulation, tension and stress relief.
CoffeeBerry® Yoga: $145 (50 minutes)
Participate in this unforgettable experience utilizing one of nature’s strongest botanical plants. This facial will provide the ultimate relaxation using facial yoga strokes to tone your facial features and reduce tension. Specialized products will brighten and even your overall skin tone. Leaving skin feeling firm, lifted, youthful, radiant and you relaxed and recharged.
Heavenly Facial: $135 (50 minutes)
Our signature aromatherapy facial treatment is suited for men or women, customized to your skin needs. This gentle facial includes light exfoliation, steam, gentle massage of neck, shoulders and face with a custom blend of pure essential oils and treatment masque to nourish and hydrate your skin. Ideal for all skin types, adults and teens alike.
Heavenly Massage: $75 (25 minutes) / $135 (50 minutes); $185 (80 minutes)
Our signature full-body massage is customized especially for your needs using heat and a blend of distinct essential oils. Relaxation comes from the harmonious balance of scent and touch. Enjoy this service under an outside cabana with the sounds of the ocean or in our private massage room.
Rollerssage: $145 (50 minutes) / $190 (80 minutes)
This unique therapy offered only at selected Starwood Spa Collection locations. Specially shaped semi-precious stones are used for a calming, healing massage.
Hawaiian Salt Glow: $130 (45 minutes)
In this relaxing wet treatment service, an earthy island scent and Hawaiian salt is applied to the body as the dancing waters of our vichy shower rinse away any tension and stress. You will finish with a moisturizer leaving the body refreshed.

Experience healing through touch and reverence. This rhythmic massage brings you the touch and scent of Hawaii to enhance deep relaxation and rejuvenation.

Relax and enjoy a 50-minute signature heavenly massage followed by a private whirlpool bath for two.
Volcanic Men’s Pedicure: $70 (50 minutes)
A super-hydrating aroma therapeutic pedicure packed with vitamins and minerals. Feet are cleansed with a fizzing mineral soak followed by a warm sugar scrub to exfoliate and smooth the skin. A moisturizing volcanic clay foot masque deeply hydrates and prepares you for a relaxing foot and calf massage. You are then finished with the shaping of the nails leaving feet well groomed.
Tropical “Pohaku” Pedicure: $95 (75 minutes)
This moisture intense therapy for dry, parched feet incorporates a coconut oil blend & lemongrass infused scrub to gently polish, renew, & soften the skin, followed by a “pohaku” or warm stone massage, using a rich tropical butter cream. Finished with a perfect coat of enamel or natural nail buff.
