Set in a world-class tropical paradise, The Westin Maui Resort & Spa, Ka'anapali offers an abundance of exciting things to do on-property at our resort. Swim, play and splash in our five pools with waterslides; stroll through our idyllic koi pond gardens beneath swaying palms and watch the flamingos and black swans frolic. Stroll along the beach at sunset. Relax in a cabana with a cocktail. Dine oceanside or poolside, or exult in live music and dancing performances, a lavish buffet and endless drinks at our Polynesian luau. Relax in our full-service, luxurious spa. But when you're ready to venture off-property, you'll find many of the best things to do are just steps away. Walk over to Whaler's Village, just a block from our resort, where you'll discover upscale restaurants, shops and entertainment venues. Take our local area shuttle to nearby attractions. Explore Maui, from Haleakala National Park to Honolua Bay. One of the most interesting things to do in Maui with kids (aside from the dozens of outdoor recreational activities from snorkeling to swimming, sailing and beach outings) is a visit to Hana, an undeveloped natural area of unbridled, splendid beauty.

Whaler's Village

Well-known as the premier shopping center in Maui, Whaler's Village is only one block from our resort. It's one of the best things to do in Maui on any day of the week. From Billabong to Kate Spade and Louis Vuitton, the 67 stores and 12 restaurants at this shopping mall offer nearly endless recreation and pleasure. Dine at Hula Grill Kaanapali, Monkeypod Kitchen by Merriman, Leilani's on the Beach, Nikki's Pizza and more. Insiders will tell you that many of the famous brands are more affordable here than on the mainland. Discover everything you need from supermarket food items to stock your in-room refrigerator to clothing, shoes, souvenirs, housewares, professional services and specialty stores.

Haleakala National Park

Located on the island of Maui, in Hawaii, Haleakala National Park is a wilderness area and a sacred landscape, continuously reverberating with the echoes of Hawaiian culture and ancestry. Experiencing the Sunrise Ceremony at the park is one of the most popular things to do in Maui. The park also offers ample opportunity for hiking, learning about the region - it's plants, animals and history, guided activities, and beautiful natural scenery from craggy cliffs to magnificent waterfalls.

Isolated from the rest of Maui, this wild, undeveloped area is one of the most remote and breathtakingly beautiful unspoiled areas left in the world today. It is truly a tropical paradise not to be missed on any trip to Maui, Hawaii.

Honolua Bay

As a vital part of the Maui Marine Life Conservation District, Honolua Bay does not allow fishing. Honolua Bay does offer snorkeling and scuba diving tours, a beautiful beach, great surfing and lush hiking trails through Honolua Valley. Set on the wild northwestern shore of Maui, Hawaii, this magnificent beach area offers something for everyone in your family or group to enjoy. It is revered by locals and prized by tourists as a major attraction on the island of Maui.

Ka'anapali Golf Courses
